The Wool Shigoki Jacket highlights Issey Miyake’s propensity to distill classic staples down to the essence of the garment. Here the designer removes the collar from a chore coat, flatten the appearance of the fabric through the use of a wool-blend fabric, and adds a two-button closure at the front with modern, large buttons for a clean appearance.
